    Luis Chávez: "No entendimos lo que Tata quiso plantear" ante Argentina

    El autor del segundo gol ante Arabia Saudita cargó contra Gerardo Martino por su falta de propuesta ofensiva en el segundo juego del Mundial.

    Luis Chávez, centrocampista de la Selección de México, criticó, tras la eliminación de Tri en Fase de Grupos del Mundial de Qatar 2022, el planteamiento de su entrenador, Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, el cual aseguró que “no” entendieron al estar defendiendo y sin enfocarse en el ataque.

    “Claro que asumo responsabilidad. Los que jugamos somos nosotros. En el segundo partido no entendimos mucho lo que él (Martino) quiso plantear. Defendimos durante un tiempo, pero no generamos; así no se pueden hacer goles y terminamos perdiendo el partido”, dijo en rueda de prensa tras ser nombrado mejor jugador del partido.

    “Me siento muy triste, dejamos de hacer muchas cosas los primeros dos partidos. Reaccionamos un poco tarde, aunque sabíamos que teníamos esperanza de calificar. Más allá de lo personal me quedo con lo colectivo y me voy muy triste”, amplió.

    Además, contestó sobre los rumores que le colocan el Bayer Leverkusen después de que el club pusiera un tuit en su cuenta oficial en español mencionándole, al que contestó Pachuca, su club actual.

    “Contento. Que equipos así se fijen en uno es bueno. Ya veremos si hablan con Pachuca para ver si hacen algún movimiento”, declaró.
